MEET KEVIN

Kevin D'Ambrosio is a disabled actor raised north of Boston who has written and produced films that have premiered at the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge, Love + Ritual (2023) and Super Inspired (2022). He was a member of UMass Amherst comedy troupe, Mission IMPROVable. He appeared for many years on stage in Chicago theaters, including, iO and Piven Theatre. His stage credits there include the world-premiere's: Academy-Award nominee John Hancock's, The Brother, and Sarah Ruhl's adaption of, Three Sisters. He is an award-winning storyteller (The Moth StorySLAM), and is a motivational speaker. Kevin created a personal narrative storytelling lab in Cook County Jail (Chicago) for maximum and medium security male detainees, and led a theater games program for adults with developmental disabilities at Piven Theatre.
